Call for Paper

The rapid increase in the elderly population in Türkiye has significant effects on the social, economic and cultural fields as well as the demographic structure. This process necessitates rethinking the social position of elderly individuals, their access to health services, their care needs and their quality of life. Addressing the aging process in many different dimensions such as social policies, family structure, urbanization and technology will contribute to the production of more comprehensive solutions for the needs of the elderly.

Within the scope of the theme of “Being Elderly in Türkiye”, which we have determined for the new issue of our journal, we are expecting academic studies that examine the place of elderly individuals in society, the problems they face and the strategies for solving these problems.
